Get started in 5 minutes

Requires Python 3.11+ on macOS, Linux, or WSL. Bring your own server (a $5/mo VPS is plenty), or run on a Raspberry Pi at home.

Open http://localhost:5000, log in with the default admin, change the password via Account → Change Password. Done.

Optional: enable S3 for upload storage, set up Litestream for continuous DB backups. Both have first-class support in the deploy script.
